Macmillan provide practical, medical and financial support and push for better cancer care.

Marie Curie Cancer Care

Marie Curie Cancer Care is a UK charity dedicated to the care of people with terminal cancer and other illnesses. Over the financial year 2010/11, we reached a total of 31,799 patients

Youth Health Talk

YouthHealthTalk
Youthhealthtalk enables young people, their family and friends, and professionals such as doctors and teachers to understand young people's experiences of health, illness and life in general. The website feature real-life accounts of issues such as effect on work and education, social life and relationships, consulting health professionals and treatment.

We are a strong and professional team who work hard to provide a high level of care to all of our patients, whilst also continually being open to ideas to improve the work that we do.

Doctors

Dr Tim Hughes (m)

MB, BS ( London 1984), Diploma in Geriatric Medicine, MRCGP (distinction), Diploma in Orthropaedic Medicine, Postgraduate  Diploma in Dermatology

He usually works Mondays, Tuesday morning, Wednesdays, Thursday morning and Fridays.

Dr Hughes is a GP with a specialist interest in musculoskeletal medicine, dermatology, pain management and has an interest in older persons medicine. He performs minor surgery and does joint injections for pain in the practice.

He is a GP trainer for GP's in training on the York GP Training Programme.

Dr Jacqueline A Lodge (f)

MB, BS, DCH, DRCOG, MRCGP (London 1989)

Dr Lodge has an interest in Womens Health and Family Planning and palliative care and  performs minor surgery and fits contraceptive implants and coils.

Dr Lodge is a GP trainer for doctors in training to be GP's on the York Training Scheme

Dr Rachel E Hodgson (f)

MBChB, MRCP, DFFP, MRCGP (Liverpool 1996)

Dr Hodgson has an interest in Womens Health, Family Planning and Sexual health and Rheumatology and fits contraception coils and performs some joint injections.

Dr David Powell (m)

MA (Cantab), MBBS (Hull York 2009), MRCGP

 

Dr Powell works Monday, Wednesday and Thursday each week.  Dr Powell has an interest in ear, nose and throat conditions and dermatology.  Dr Powell does knee, shoulder and carpal tunnel injections.
